Kota Bharu!

So we had a short, err, well, adventure I could say, at Kota Bharu. Totally unprepared. I mean, yeah we bought flight tickets, train tickets and book the hotel there but we've no idea what to do there or where to go (apart from Pasar Siti Khadijah, which is a no brainer for anybody visiting there). We even lost our way trying to find a bus to Pantai Cahaya Bulan. But we end up in the museum district and found the Nasi Ulam Cikgu so it's a win-win situation. After coming back from PCB, the taxis at the city center bus stop tried to rip us off. Instead of RM4 that our receptionist told us would cost for a trip back to the hotel, they asked for RM10! That sets Umi off, thank goodness she just walked away. Also, we kinda lost our way out at the Wakaf Che Yeh. The place is huge man! Though we found a delicious tomyam stall with more chicken fillings than the uneatable titbits (unlike most of the tomyam in Klang Valley). We took the train home instead of flights. I like train rides but apparently, if you're not used to it, it's kinda hard to sleep with the bumps and rickety racket and kids screaming next door and all. So here's the pictures, enjoy!
